Scoliosis Research Society

The Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) is an international society that was founded in 1966 with 37 members. It has gained recognition as one of the world's premier spine societies. The SRS has maintained a commitment to research and education in the field of spinal deformities. Strict membership criteria ensure that the individual Fellows support that commitment. Current membership includes more than 1,600 of the world's leading spine surgeons, researchers, physician assistants and orthotists who are involved in research and treatment of spinal deformities.

Higgy Bears

MAKING SCOLIOSIS BEARABLE

Higgy Bears are special teddy bears that make scoliosis bearable for kids and teens all over the world! They sell higgy bears and other scoliosis awareness products. This site also hosts zoom support groups for all ages and situations. They host the largest gathering of scoliosis patients in the world at an event called HiggyCon.

Scoliosis and Spine Online Learning (SSOL) is committed to providing current, science-based education and training in the field of scoliosis and other spinal conditions. We provide education and support to health care professionals and the patients and families they serve.

Canadian Scoliosis Screening Coalition

A National non-profit Initiative advocating Early Detection of Scoliosis through Screening of school-age children in Canada. Our group composed of compassionate and dedicated volunteer parent and patient advocates, advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals. Our coalition includes leading Paediatric Spine Surgeons, Researchers, Physiotherapists trained in Scoliosis-specific physiotherapy, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Orthotists and the Canadian Paediatric Spine Society.
